Kairos logo

Kairos of Texas operates as a State Chapter and serves in prisons and Jails through a contractual agreement with the Warden and Chaplain of each unit. At present, we are in thirty-five units (prisons & jails) across the State of Texas (we are opening more units from time to time). We are blessed also to have four locations where we minister to family members with the Kairos Outside Ministry.

We form teams of Christians who become TDCJ Certified Volunteers to serve at TDCJ Units. When we serve we become guests of the Units and are given many privileges because we have such a positive impact on the inmates. We accept forty-two inmates per weekend, and put on two weekends per year, in each unit. The selection at each Unit of the residents who are to attend our weekends is made by the Warden and the Chaplain, with input from the Security.

KG Communications logo

Hello everyone. I am your webmaster. I am the owner\operator of KG Communications (formerly Knowledge Graphics). Sounds quite impressive doesn't it. It really just means that I work for myself as a consultant to organizations as a technical writer and information specialist.  This site is one of my first forays into creating HTML pages from scratch (usually I'm writing in a publishing tool and then converting to an output form). That being said I hope you experts out there will forgive my simplest code.

I hope to help make this site as useful and relevent as it can be so please write to me any suggestions, criticisms, or questions.  kirk@beto.org

King of Glory logo

King of Glory Fellowship can best be described as a "full gospel, liturgical church." We use the Anglican liturgy as a basic structure, ancient and modern worship music, all with a definite sense of freedom. Our goal is to glorify God, proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ, to make disciples, heal the sick, cast out demons, and stand on the Word of God. We will in everything do our best to be the New Testament Church as described in the Acts of the Apostles and the Epistles. We are empowered and lead by the Holy Spirit.

Lions Club logo

WE SERVE - Mission Statement of Lions Clubs International:

“To create and foster a spirit of understanding among all people for humanitarian needs by providing voluntary services through community involvement and international cooperation.”

http://www.lionsclubs.org/EN/index.shtml

God created man with a desire for adventure and risk as a part of his spirit. We have not effectively appealed to these desires in traditional Christian settings. It is our goal in Man Adventures to use the excitement and attraction of outdoor adventure to get the man's attention who is either totally absent from the traditional church or who is there but is bored and uninvolved.
